Singapore primary mathematics syllabus identifies eleven heuristics which are applicable to problem solving at upper primary level. "Heuristics" can be defined as methods or strategies that can be helpful in problem solving.
By combining these heuristics, it can become a powerful and easy way to solve a problem.
